KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will start direct flights between Amsterdam and Hyderabad from October 30.
The thrice-weekly service has come after KLM obtained the right to expand operations to and from India, a company release here.
“We are pleased with the way we have been able to expand in line with the strategically important Indian market. We have been able to achieve this based on the recently expanded airline rights,” Peter Hartman, Deputy President and Managing Director of KLM, was quoted by the release as saying.
KLM’s partners Northwest Airlines and Air France, will simultaneously initiate services to Bangalore from Amsterdam and Paris respectively.

Indian Airlines today said its flights to Bangkok from Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore will operate to revised timings from October 3. Singapore Airlines (SIA) will fly to Hyderabad four days a week from October 30, making the Andhra Pradesh capital its eighth destination in India.
