Bombay Rayon Limited on Monday announced its proposal to set up a greenfield integrated textile unit, with production facilities for yarning, weaving, processing and garment manufacturing at Apparel Park, Doddabarllar, Bangalore.
The Company has also declared that, it has been allocated 20.26 acres of land in Industrial Township developed by karnataka Government at Doddabarllar Apparel Park, which has been modeled on international lines with modern infrastructure and dedicated power and water supply and common effluent treatment plant.
S Sridhar, Executive Director, EXIM Bank, while handing over Rs50mn cheque to the Company, as a part of equity investment, said that, “The Bank is subscribing 10,00,000 equity shares of Rs10 each at a premium of Rs40 per share. Post IPO the Bank is likely to get about 2.4% of total share of the Company.”

Bal Pharma to sell Pune unit Bangalore-based pharmaceutical company, Bal Pharma, plans to sell its unit III at Pune on a ‘going concern basis’ to Sunways India, Mumbai for Rs 5 crore. India Real Estate: Huawei to set up manufacturing unit in India
Huawei Technologies is planning to set up a manufacturing unit in India. The company has identified two locations - Gurgaon or Bangalore - for the proposed facility. According to the company spokesperson, the company would manufacture handsets and 3G equipment at its India facility. Huawei is also planning to introduce its GSM and CDMA handsets in India by this year-end. It is also planning to set up training centers for its customers as well as a customer care center, which would be set up along with its manufacturing facility.
