Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd said on Thursday its board had approved acquiring the entire stake in Dev Property Development Plc in a 138- million-pound sterling (10.9 billion rupees) share-swap deal. Morgan Stanley eyes select small caps

L N Mittal, CEO of the worlds largest steel company Arcelor-Mittal, and a wholly owned unit of San Francisco-based Farallon Capital, the worlds largest investment fund, have together acquired a 13.33 per cent stake in Indiabulls Infrastructure Development Limited, the majority owned subsidiary of Indiabulls Financial Services Limited, for Rs 447 crore (Rs 4.47 billion). The deal values Indiabulls Infrastructure Development Limited at Rs 3,350 crore (Rs 33.50 billion). Post the new investments, the shareholding of Indiabulls Financial Services in Indiabulls Infrastructure Development Limited will go to 86.7 per cent. Residential property poised to lead India rebound

Residential real estate will lead the recovery of India's wounded property market in 2010 thanks to accelerating economic growth, lower interest rates and improved liquidity, Indian ratings and research agency CRISIL said Wednesday. Prices for commercial and retail space will likely remain weak through 2010 because of oversupply and slack demand, CRISIL said in a new study of 10 cities across India. REL may join hands with Indiabulls for Raigad SEZ

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani (ADA) Group company Reliance Energy (REL) may be close to inking an agreement with Indiabulls Real Estate (IBREL) to jointly develop a 6,000-acre multi-product special economic zone (SEZ) in Maharashtras Raigad district. The project may be developed as a 50:50 joint venture, sources familiar with the development told ET. REL officials declined to comment, while Indiabulls director Gagan Banga said, We would not react to market speculation.On BSE, shares of IBREL and REL were down 8% to Rs 468.60 and Rs 1,191, respectively in a weak Mumbai market. Rajesh Jain of Pranav Securities is of the view that investors should be cautious with realty and Indiabulls Real Estate at current levels.
