After setting its footprints successfully in northern and western India, Reliance Autozone the automotive retail arm of Reliance Retail launches its second automotive retail store in south.
Taking forward the initiative to bring world class auto retailing facilities in India, Reliance Autozone forays into Bangalore with two of its automotive specialty stores at Sector 5, Hosur Sarajpur Road (HSR) layout and Southend Road, Basavanagudi. Spread over 3,000 sq ft and 3,100 sq ft of retail area respectively, the stores match the global auto retailing standards. Reliance, Hiranandani, DLF in race for HUL’s Brookefields
Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Retail is vying for Hindustan Unilevers (HUL) real estate assets in Bangalore, which is on the block. Also in the race are real estate majors DLF, Hiranandani and Nitesh Estates. The 28-acre property at Brookefields, located in the heart of the citys IT corridor, is expected to fetch around Rs 400 crore, sources said. The deadline for filing bids ended last Friday. Farmers object to their land being acquired for the Dadri Power Project
Instigated by rivals and the desire for more compensations more farmers headed for the collectors office objecting to their land being acquired for the Dadri Power Projectionists some accompanied by kin thronged the collectorate to register their application to claim their land back. Anil Dhirubhai Ambani (ADA) Group company Reliance Energy (REL) may be close to inking an agreement with Indiabulls Real Estate (IBREL) to jointly develop a 6,000-acre multi-product special economic zone (SEZ) in Maharashtras Raigad district. The project may be developed as a 50:50 joint venture, sources familiar with the development told ET.
