Kerala properties on offer at exhibition

The real estate industry in Kerala is booming with about 300 projects currently under construction, according to the exhibitors at Kerala Property Expo.

The three-day exhibition, featuring about 50 builders, has been organized by the Kerala Builders Forum (KBF) at Regency Hall.

The growth of real estate in Kerala is attributed to the growth of the Indian IT sector. Kerala gives good investment opportunities now. Earlier stress was given to the tourism industry. But now it has shifted more or less to the IT sector. A number of IT parks are coming up in major cities of Kerala, resulting in increase in population density here, said V Raveendran, Executive Director, KBF, while talking to The Peninsula.
