By IANS, [RxPG] Jaipur, May 4 - Rajasthan continued to sizzle under heat wave conditions with day temperatures Friday hovering between 42 and 45 degrees Celsius, much above normal, forcing people to remain indoors.
It is becoming really unbearable, even desert coolers are failing to bring down the temperatures indoors, said Shobhan Singh, a local resident.
The scorching heat had foreign tourists in real hard time. This is my second visit to Jaipur during this time of the year. I have never experienced this kind of heat earlier. I am planning to cut short my tour and go back to my country soon, said Joan, a tourist from Britain.
